Childbirth & Breastfeeding Education
Many first-time expectant parents seek guidance in preparing for their new baby's arrival. Our childbirth and breastfeeding classes are designed to give parents the information and confidence they need to face the challenges of childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn parenting.
About Bright Side Doulas
We are Mary & Jenny
We met not long after our first children were born and quickly bonded over their shared philosophies about a relaxed approach to natural parenting. We had both had well-supported pregnancies and deliveries with a midwife, and we had both developed comfortable nursing relationships with our children. But as we met more moms, we realized that our experiences were the exceptions!

Our approach to you and your family is open, nonjudgmental, and encouraging. We bring a fresh perspective that gives you confidence that your experience will be the best it can be and that we will be there for you every step of the way.

Breastfeeding is free, convenient, and the healthiest option for your baby. However, it is not always clear from the start. In the first few days and weeks after birth, we will devote the majority of our time to breastfeeding.

The Birth Doula service offers continuous doula support during labor and childbirth.Your doula will answer questions, assist you in packing for the hospital, and help you create a birth plan. During labor, your doula gives you the encouragement and comfort you need to get through each stage.
